Over the POP: A Cabaret
Online tickets will close at noon day of each show but you can also buy at the door! $30 adv / $35 door (cash)
This one-of-a-kind cabaret will showcase Lunaria Dance Theatre, Seattle-based dance company, performing dance theatre with elements of burlesque dance, showgirl, musical theatre and comedy and an added twist of belly dance; along with Caela Bailey, Seattle's seductive chanteuse and La Gaviota, dancer and bio queen with a lot of pizazz! Good clean fun with a touch of sass and lots of surprises, the show at Hale's Ales Palladium will run for two nights only from 7pm - 9pm on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4th, 2019.
Mellilah, the director of Lunaria Dance Theater, has produced sold-out shows for two years running featuring the dance company, including "Moon Over Manhattan: A Cabaret" in 2017 and "Oh, My Goldness: A Cabaret" in 2018, held at Hale's Ales Palladium. Mellilah created the dance company in 2015 as another outlet to feed her passion to choreograph and her desire to step outside of the box of Egyptian style belly dance to return to her theatrical roots. The dance company is comprised of professional and award-winning dancers who collectively offer a diverse background in belly dance, theatre, ballet, ballroom, burlesque, tap, and jazz.
